This demo tests the mediaPanZoom feature of SMIL 3.0. By using a simple view box mechanism plus SMIL animation, you don't have to
be a Madison Avenue programmer to make a juicy presentation. (The timed-text labels were created with smilText.)
The mediaPanZoom feature allows you to create Ken Burns-style animations: by loading a single image, you can still give the feeling of
motion. Handy if your video budget is small, or if you are targetting mobile devices on relatively slow (or expensive!) links.
The source material was shot on location in Tuscany, yielding the AMBULANT production crew a tasty expense deduction.
