	Much of Ambulant's development was made possible via a grant from the NLnet Foundation. NLnet funds open-source projects that stimulate the development of advanced networking applications and protocols on open platforms.
	The project is also supported by CWI: Centrum Wiskunde & Informatica in Amsterdam. CWI is the Dutch national research center for mathematics and computer science. Ambulant's development takes place with CWI's research group Distributed Multimedia Languages & Infrastructures.
