This demo test various forms of transitions and content positioning features of SMIL.
The Euros demo was originally written for the GRiNS 2.0 player. It was created at about the time that the Euro was introduced on the mainland of Europe.
Since the UK didn't (and doesn't) participate in the common currency, we wrote a little promo presentation to help our over-channel friends get ready for the inevitable.
As the promo says: The EURO, it's closer than you think!
This promo doesn't represent any new SMIL 3.0 functionality, but the two tunes used are among the favorites at the AMBULANT staff disco. The
renditions were made by the Smoke Rise Boys in Marietta, Georgia. And no, they didn't get any Euros for the production.
